JinkoSolar announced it has exerted an agreement with ECOPULSE S.A de C.V to deliver a 2.06MWh battery storage system for its utility project in Mexico, allowing excess renewable energy to be stored and used as baseload energy, and enhancing operational resilience.

JinkoSolar's containerized ESS uses lithium iron phosphate batteries with high energy density, fast response time, and high round-trip efficiency to maximize energy storage, making them suitable for maintaining grid stability. A central control system manages the batteries' charge and discharge cycles. The integrated system also provides both the liquid cooling system for batteries and a built-in air conditioning system for the integrated cabinet to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Live monitoring through extensive use of intelligent sensors, security cameras, and dashboards tracks the key performance indicators to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal performance.

Thanks to a complete system unit, JinkoSolar's ESS (JKE-2064K-2H-LAA) can be transported to the project site more quickly and conveniently. This, in turn, significantly cuts installation costs and commissioning time.
