Yingli Establishes New Regional Headquarters in Switzerland
Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited today announced the formal establishment of its regional headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. The objective of this strategic move is to incorporate the Company's core European business activities within the framework of the newly founded Yingli Green Energy International AG. For the purpose of centralising key decision-making functions Yingli Green Energy has chosen the Swiss city of Zurich. -

Renerco Solar, SunEnergy Europe Complete 31.5MW Solar Plant in Germany
Investor and EPC Renerco Solar and project developer SunEnergy Europe Complete 31.5MW solar plant. What they look back upon with great satisfaction is the completion of the second largest PV Power Park in the German federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The installation was ready for operation even a few days before September 30th, the critical date to obtain the feed-in-tariff for large-scale solar power plants. Now the area of 40 hectares which used to be a military airfield during WW II has turned into a 31.5MW green energy power plant. -

Conergy Hands over a 540kW PV Installation in Italy
Conergy has handed over a 544 kilowatt in-roof system to the investor, Alubel, in Italy. The roof-integrated solar power plant has been installed at the premises of Alubel in Bagnalo in Piano, Reggio Emilia. The solar specialists have installed around 2,300 Conergy PowerPlus modules on more than 9,000 square metres of the factory's metal roof. The modules generate around 572,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a year. This is enough to supply more than 160 households with clean energy and more than the total electricity consumed by Alubel at its company premises. 33 Conergy IPG T converters feed the electricity into the Italian grid. The system is monitored using the Conergy VisionBox. -

Soitec Completes Delivery of 5MW in Solar Energy Systems to Italy
Soitec (Euronext) has completed delivery on a total of 5 megawatts (MW) of its Concentrix™ concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) systems to seven solar power plants throughout Italy. This latest sales news follows Soitec's announcement in June that it had completed construction of a solar facility in the Catania province in Sicily. These system deliveries to multiple customers expand Soitec's solar system installations to more than 10MW worldwide. -

Hunan Yueer Solar to Build 30-MW Solar Project in Nepal
Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese solar energy firm Hunan Yueer Solar Energy Technology Co. Ltd. for installing a 30-Megawatt solar station in the country. It would be the largest ever solar energy project in Nepal.
