SMA Delivers Inverters and Takes Over O&M Services of 100MW PV Power Plant in Canada
November 20, 2013 – The Canadian company of SMA Solar Technology AG, SMA Canada, will deliver central inverters for Canada's large PV power plant. Upon commercial operation, and for the next decade, SMA Service will also assume operational management of the 100 megawatt plant in Haldimand County, Ontario, from the owner Grand Renewable Solar LP. -

ReneSola Completes Delivery of Virtus II (R) Modules for 4MW Solar Project in Japan
Nov. 19, 2013 - ReneSola today announced that, under its contract with NIPPON STEEL & SUMIKIN BUSSAN MATEX CO., LTD. ("NIPPON STEEL"), the Company has successfully completed delivery of 2MW of its polysilicon modules, VirtusⅡ® 260W, in support of a 4MW mega solar project in Uenohara-shi, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Delivery of the modules had commenced in April of this year as assembly of the ground-mounted project began. This Uenohara solar project in the Yamanashi area is operated by MDI-SB Solar Corporation and is officially delivering power to the grid. -

ReneSola Wins 53.5MW Solar Project in Southern Texas
Nov. 18, 2013 - ReneSola today announced it will deliver more than 178,000 PV modules, which will be used in a 53.5MW project being developed by OCI Solar Power. The modules will be installed in a project named Alamo II in San Antonio and another upcoming Texas development approximately two hours west of San Antonio. -

First Solar and JX Nippon Partner to Deliver Next Generation Solar Power in Japan
November 15, 2013 - First Solar and JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation today announced that they have signed an agreement for the distribution of First Solar's solar photovoltaic modules in Japan through April 2015. As part of the agreement, First Solar will develop and manufacture the new technology obtained through the acquisition of TetraSun. JX Nippon will distribute the technology. Partnered together, JX Nippon and First Solar will provide solar energy solutions to meet Japan's unique power needs. -

DIF Infrastructure to Acquire Four Solar Power Plants from Canadian Solar
Nov. 18, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced that its subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., has entered into a sales agreement with a fund managed by DIF ("DIF"), whereby DIF will acquire from Canadian Solar four utility-scale solar power plants located in Ontario, Canada, totaling 40MW at a valuation comparable to other recent project sales completed by Canadian Solar on a per megawatt basis in the Ontario market. The agreement is subject to usual closing conditions, including the completion of financing for the construction of each solar plant which is being arranged with the participation of leading international banks. -

First Solar to Invest $100 Million in Japan
Nov. 15, 2013 - First Solar today announced that it will invest approximately $100 MM in Japan to develop solar power plants. First Solar will partner with Japanese companies to develop, construct, and operate solar power plants, mitigating Japan's dependence on nuclear and natural gas fuel imports.
